You’re here because part of you knows that you don’t have to suffer, and that it is possible to find relief and grow.
About Jessica Cameron, LCSW
I’m a licensed therapist, mindfulness practitioner, and parent who believes that it is always possible to grow.
My own journey as a parent and fellow human being have shown me that when I approach challenges with curiosity, courage, and compassion for myself and others, I can live in and enjoy the present most fully. I am a life-long learner, and I embrace opportunities to move closer to my core values, even when it means making changes that are scary.
As a practitioner of mindfulness meditation and yoga, I believe in the power of mind-body practices to promote growth and healing. I am interested in the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern science, and I respect the traditions from which many of the evidence-based practices I use are derived.
When not in the therapy room, I am engaged in the rewarding and challenging work of learning to be a mindful spouse and mindful parent to my two very energetic young children.

Trauma-Informed
My first priority is creating a strong therapeutic relationship, rooted in compassion, in which your unique strengths are affirmed and supported. From there, I believe it is possible to engage collaboratively in the work of change. I offer guidance for engaging in the methods of treatment while respecting your willingness and choice to do so.
While much of initial therapy work tends to be symptom-focused, I also enjoy working with clients on a long-term basis to continue to maintain the progress they have achieved and address broader topics related to life transitions, meaning-making, and values.
How I work
My clients are adults with diverse backgrounds and life experiences. While it is important to understand the diagnosis we are addressing through therapy, I do not believe that you are defined by a diagnosis. I view all of my clients as complete human beings, taking into account their unique strengths, experiences, and contexts.
My practice is inclusive of people with a range of identities in regards to race, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and ability. I am an anti-racist and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist.
Who I work with
I specialize in the treatment of OCD, anxiety, and depression, including during pregnancy and postpartum. I also work with parents beyond the postpartum period. I have worked with many presentations of OCD, including concerns related to contamination, sexuality, harm, religion, and just right symptoms. I also have experience working with a range of anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and specific phobias.
